Houston based, national award-winning plaintiff litigation firm with a proven record of success representing tens of thousands of clients in personal injury litigation, civil litigation, and mass torts is looking to add a Pre-lit Attorney to help with their personal injury pre-litigation docket and workers compensation docket. This is an entry level position perfect for a recently licensed attorney.
The position will include all aspects of personal injury claims and some workers compensation claims. This position is full-time and onsite at the firm’s Houston, TX office location.
Qualifications
- Must be a Texas licensed attorney in good standing
- Should have 0-3 years of experience as an attorney; Workers Compensation Experience preferred but not required)
- Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish (Strongly preferred but not required)
- Must be fast learner
- Must have good writing skills
- Must have case management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must have superior organizational skills with great follow through
- Must have solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize appropriately
- Must be able to thrive under pressure and be self-motivated
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team
