National, award winning results-driven plaintiff litigation firm that represents tens of thousands of clients in personal injury litigation, civil litigation, and mass torts including product liability, dangerous drugs and defective medical products is seeking a Labor Law Attorney with specific experience in Construction Accident Litigation to join a growing construction accident practice in their New York, NY office.  The firm values independence, efficiency, and fierce advocacy for injured workers. As part of their team, you’ll enjoy the freedom of hybrid/remote work (based on performance and firm policy) while being fully supported by a collaborative and experienced legal staff.

This position focuses on representing injured workers in complex personal injury cases stemming from construction site accidents, including falls, scaffolding and ladder incidents, falling objects, and other site-related hazards.  The successful candidate will be highly motivated and tech-savvy with moderate litigation experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Case Management: Independently handle a caseload of construction-related injury claims from intake through resolution, including discovery, motion practice, negotiations, and trial prep.

  • Investigation & Strategy: Evaluate accident circumstances, gather and review evidence, identify safety failures, and build strong, fact-based legal strategies.
  • Legal Drafting: Prepare legal documents including complaints, motions, discovery responses, and settlement agreements with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Client Communication: Maintain frequent, professional communication with clients, providing updates, answering questions, and managing expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants—remotely and in person—to ensure smooth case progression and positive outcomes.
  • Technology: Utilize modern legal software and tools to manage cases, meet deadlines, and streamline workflows in both remote and in-office environments

Qualifications

  • Must have a J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York
  • Must have 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably handling construction site or serious personal injury cases
  • Must have familiarity with construction site safety standards and industry practices
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working without close supervision
  • Must be detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Must be a clear communicator and team collaborator
  • Must be passionate about representing injured workers and achieving results

Skills:

  • Strong writing, legal research, and oral advocacy
  • Proficiency in legal tech platforms and cloud-based case management systems
  • Comfortable working in a paperless environment utilizing the latest technology including AI
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and work efficiently in both remote and in-office settings

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Supportive work environment with growth opportunities
