Responsibilities

• Manage kitchen staff by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing training, and fostering a positive team environment.
• Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and compliance with health regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely service and optimal customer satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food storage to minimize waste and control costs.
• Implement operational procedures for shift management, including opening and closing routines.
• Support catering, banquet events, or special functions by ensuring proper setup, execution, and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food handling within a fast-paced hospitality or restaurant setting.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, dietary requirements, and sanitation practices.
• Familiarity with restaurant management systems, shift management, and food industry best practices.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience in culinary arts or hospitality management is highly desirable.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
