Duties

- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions.
- Ensure responsible serving by verifying guest IDs and monitoring alcohol consumption to promote a safe environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering, banquet events, or nightclub service to coordinate food and beverage delivery seamlessly.
- Uphold all food safety standards and sanitation practices to ensure a safe experience for guests and team members alike.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially within fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with retail math is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively without sacrificing quality of service.
