What are the responsibilities and job description for the Permanent Substitute Teacher - Physical Education (partial year) position at Dennis Yarmouth Regional School District?
DATES OF ASSIGNMENT: December 15, 2025 – End of the 2025–2026 School Year
COMPENSATION: For certified applicants the salary is $315.33/per day while holding a Bachelor's degree or $333.66/per day while holding a Master's degree per the Collective Bargaining Agreement located on the DY website. For non-certified applicants the salary is $120/day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide all students with access to grade-level instruction and essential content
- Prioritize the social and emotional wellbeing of students and educators as the foundation for effective teaching and learning
- Engage students and families in learning a meaningful and consistent manner
- Regularly reflect on the effectiveness of lessons, units, and interactions with students, both individually and with colleagues, and uses insights gained to improve practice and student learning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MA DESE license for grade level
- The successful candidate will have a proven ability to work as a member of a highly functioning collaborative team.
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
