What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daily Substitute - 5 Days Per Week Position (2 positions) position at Dennis Yarmouth Regional School District?
COMPENSATION:
- Substitute Teachers who have completed the district's online training will be paid $120 per day.
- Substitute Teachers who have not completed the district's online training will be paid $97 per day.
- Substitute Education Support Professionals- $21.65 per hour.
All applicants must be fingerprinted prior to hiring. Additional information regarding fingerprinting including scheduling an appointment may be found on our website. A CORI application must be completed with our Central Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide a positive role model, good behavior, and respectful interactions with students and staff.
- Must be flexible and participate as part of the team.
- Ability to cover classroom teachers, assistants, related arts teachers, or any other duties that are needed on a daily basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have 2 years of college or be highly qualified under the NLCB regulations.
- Experience working with children, preferred.
- Must be reliable, responsible and dependable.
