What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Dennis, Wenger & Abrell, P.C.?
DW&A has been providing legal services to East Central Indiana for over 40 years. We now have offices in Muncie, Indiana and Carmel, Indiana. We are looking for a motivated candidate to begin immediately, working part-time in both the Muncie, Indiana and Carmel, Indiana offices.
**Right now, the ideal candidate would be interested in practicing family law.

**Our main areas of practice include: business law, family law, real estate, intellectual property, litigation, white collar crime, and estate planning, wills and trusts.
Qualifications
· JD from an accredited law school
· Admitted to practice in Indiana (REQUIRED)
· Preferred:
- 3 years of defense/litigation experience preferred
- Experience handling general civil litigation defense matters (may include personal injury defense or domestic practice)
Responsibilities
· Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
· Work with other attorneys and partners, as needed, on legal projects
· Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
· Communicate with clients and provide status reports
· Timely assist with billing clients
