About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Sweetgrass Plastic Surgery. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting the surgical team in the operating room, ensuring that all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning, and maintaining a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, and will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be certified as a Surgical Technologist
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
- Current BLS certification
- Suturing skills preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital or surgical center
- Experience with a variety of surgical procedures and specialties
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout the surgical procedure
- Ensure that all equipment is properly sterilized and functioning
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide the highest quality care to patients
