Duties
- Lead engaging and safe jet ski tours, providing clear instructions and safety briefings to guests before each ride
- Demonstrate proper jet ski operation techniques, ensuring all participants understand safety protocols and riding etiquette
- Communicate effectively with guests, answering questions and sharing interesting facts about local waterways and wildlife
- Monitor water traffic, and equipment to maintain a secure environment throughout each tour
- Manage guest check-in processes, including registration, equipment fitting, and safety gear distribution
- Enforce safety rules consistently while maintaining an energetic and positive attitude that enhances guest experience
- Assist with equipment maintenance, cleaning, and storage to ensure all jet skis are in optimal condition for daily use
- Transport guests from office to marina
- Assist in office when necessary
Qualifications
- Boater's safety certificate
- Strong skills with experience in guiding or instructing groups in outdoor or water-based activities
- Excellent communication skills to deliver clear instructions and engage guests effectively
- Proven customer service experience with a friendly, approachable demeanor that fosters guest trust and enjoyment
- Effective time management skills to coordinate tours efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
- Teaching or instructional experience related to water sports or outdoor activities is a plus
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond swiftly to emergency situations if needed
