Duties

• Assist attorneys with all phases of personal injury cases, including case intake, investigation, documentation, and settlement processes
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using legal research tools to support case strategies
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and correspondence with clients and insurance companies
• Manage case files using MyCase or other document management systems, ensuring accurate filing, data entry, and document review
• Interview clients, witnesses, medical providers, and experts to gather relevant information for case development
• Coordinate with medical providers for records retrieval and bill review; track deadlines and court filings to ensure procedural compliance
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client information while supporting multiple litigation areas including civil litigation support and personal injury law

Qualifications

• Proven paralegal experience with a focus on personal injury law or related litigation fields
• Strong knowledge of procedural law, legal drafting, legal research techniques, and case management practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), MyCase, or similar legal software
• Familiarity with document review processes and electronic filing procedures in state and federal courts
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills for client interaction and collaboration with attorneys and external partners
• Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high attention to detail in all aspects of legal support

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
