What You’ll Do
As part of our Small Business team, you’ll be a trusted advisor to clients — not just someone behind a spreadsheet. Your day-to-day will include:
- Managing bookkeeping and keeping financial records accurate and up-to-date
- Preparing financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Running month-end closes and reconciling accounts
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Processing payroll and handling related filings (quarterly and annual)
- Analyzing financial data and providing insights to help clients grow
- Helping clients get the most out of QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and other platforms
- Onboarding new clients and juggling multiple client engagements
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who’s confident, curious, and eager to make an impact.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
- 3 years of hands-on accounting experience; public accounting a strong plus
- 2 years of payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, and Microsoft Office Suite
- QuickBooks Advisor Certification (bonus points!)
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, tax regs, and financial reporting
- Strong communication and consulting skills — you know how to talk with clients, not just at them
- A valid driver’s license (because sometimes, we visit clients IRL)
