Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to changes
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed
- Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Follow all policies and procedures of the facility
- Serve as charge nurses when assigned
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
- Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information
- Demonstrate respect of resident rights and dignity
- Current RN license in Maryland or Multistate license
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus, but we will train the right candidate
