Job Responsibilities
The Coordinator of Advancement Services will direct institutional activities and coordinate planning activities. Will provide assistance with institutional advancement opportunities by providing support to various planning units and academic departments through fundraising, sponsorship initiatives. Will build relationships with outside agencies and businesses to optimize value and leverage opportunities for the College and students.
Bachelor's degree and relevant program experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Five (5) years of work experience in Institutional Advancement preferred.
Additional Comments
Valid driver's license required. Frequent travel is required. Weekend travel is required. During peak seasons employees will be expected to work earlier or later hours as needed. Weekend work hours will be needed as well.
The Coordinator of Advancement Services will direct institutional activities and coordinate planning activities. - Establishes prospect research capacity and utilizes data to build portfolios. Manages strategic development. Executes and manages comprehensive annual fund giving program. Plans and coordinates fundraising workshops for senior level administrators. Provides oversight of the College's evolving donor database. Ensures acknowledgement of all gifts. Ensures ongoing training of staff and for advancement training of Raiser's Edge donor management software.
- Plans and implements all aspects of communications, to include marketing for events and special programming.
- Collaborates with staff (team) and marketing team to develop effective communication tools to ensure that fundraising efforts are fully integrated into websites, social media, and other communications.
- Reports regularly on donor and development performance assessing and modifying to achieve goals, with focus on key performance indicators and return on investment.
