What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Accountant position at Denken Solutions, Inc.?
On-Site role
Job Description:
- Work on service revenue accounting close processes including executing certain revenue journal entries, account reconciliations, management reporting, and revenue analysis or schedules.
- Actively support system and process implementation projects and perform testing to validate system design is appropriate.
- Support certain automation testing by leveraging AI models and other tools to validate the reasonableness of the system design.
- Prepare or review certain revenue controls for SOX compliance on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Comply with internal controls as well as update process documentation when needed.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, and U.S. GAAP for responsible areas.
Qualifications/Education Desired:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a minimum of one or two year of relevant experience.
- Accounting or big 4 experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong fundamental accounting knowledge and ASC 606
- Detail oriented, organized, motivated and able to function in a fast-paced environment, especially during quarter-end reporting periods.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong sense of ownership.
- Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to get things done.
- Previous experience with SAP or other comparable ERP is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills.
