Job Summary: Lead the paid and organic social strategy across all Denison Ministries brands to drive measurable audience growth, engagement, and donor acquisition. This role owns digital advertising strategy and budget, directs day-to-day campaign execution and optimization, and guides organic social media. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on performance management to deliver against key indicators including content experiences, audience growth, and return on ad spend.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Leadership
● Develop and lead the integrated paid media and organic social strategy across all four Denison Ministries brands, aligned with ministry goals and annual marketing plans set by the CMO.
● Manage and mentor the Marketing Manager, setting clear priorities, providing performance coaching, and fostering cross-brand collaboration.
● Own the monthly and annual advertising budget, allocating spend across channels and brands to maximize efficiency and impact.
● Demonstrate comfort and fluency with AI systems, applying them thoughtfully to improve campaign performance, creative development, reporting, and team productivity.
Paid Media Execution
● Plan, execute, and manage paid advertising campaigns across relevant digital platforms (including but not limited to Meta, Google, YouTube, and other emerging channels) to grow audience and brand awareness.
● Own day-to-day optimization of advertising campaigns, including audience targeting, creative testing, budget pacing, and performance adjustments to maximize results.
● Oversee the development of ad creative, copy, landing pages, and audience segments in partnership with the Creative team, ensuring continuous testing and iteration.
Organic Social Strategy
● Set the organic social strategy across Denison Ministries brands, guiding the Marketing Manager on content planning, channel mix, posting cadence, and community engagement.
● Establish performance benchmarks for organic social, balancing audience growth, engagement, and brand health across platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
● Identify content repurposing opportunities and ensure organic and paid efforts work together to extend reach of core content.
Analytics & Reporting
● Perform competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities, benchmark performance, and inform strategic advertising decisions.
● Track and analyze monthly performance metrics, including content experiences, audience growth, reach, engagement, conversions, and spend efficiency.
● All other duties as assigned by the Chief Marketing Officer.
● Ensure that performance and conduct align with the ministry’s Statement of Faith, Core Values, Organizational Playbook, and Employee Handbook.
REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
● Experience managing and optimizing paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, and YouTube, with a focus on audience growth and brand awareness.
● Proficiency with advertising dashboards, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and Google Workspace, with strong attention to detail and organization.
● Strong project management instincts with the ability to coordinate across multiple campaigns and proactively drive work forward.
● Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to present data-driven insights, create compelling ad copy, and collaborate effectively across teams.
● Quick learner who stays current with platform updates, algorithm changes, and digital marketing trends in a rapidly evolving landscape.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
● 3 years of experience in digital advertising, marketing, or paid media.
