Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary contact for customers via phone, email, in-person walk-ins and text.
- Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate and knowledgeable support which includes responding to inquiries about insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, billing clarification and resolving issues.
- Develop leads, schedule appointments and identify customer needs.
- Pivot to and market appropriate insurance products and services to customers in person and on the phone
- Maintain accurate documentation of all customer interactions.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet agency service and retention goals.
- This role could lead to a primarily sales-based job description in the future, must be flexible in accepting changing responsibilities.

- Polished communication and interpersonal skills - written, verbal and listening
- People-oriented, you like to talk to others and starting conversations is easy for you
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Focused self-starter that is eager to grow in a career
- Proactive in problem solving
- Pride in getting work done accurately and timely
- Able to learn computer functions, company software and proficient with MS Outlook
- Property & Casualty Insurance License (must be able to obtain)
- Life & Health Insurance License (must be able to obtain)
- Selected candidate is expected to remain current in product changes, licensing, technical developments, and continuing education
- This is an in-office position, must be able to commute to our agency daily in Moose Lake, MN.
