Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stock replenishment
- Stock shelves, organize backstock, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support inventory management by participating in stocking routines and inventory counts
- Assist in supervising team members during shifts, ensuring store policies are followed and tasks are completed efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus for leadership roles
- Must Be 21 years of age or older
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual settings if applicable
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory counts
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is highly desirable
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse customers
