What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator position at Deneuve Construction Services?
Boulder-based General Contractor looking for an experienced estimator to join our team in Boulder. The Estimator will work closely with the entire design and preconstruction team.
Deneuve works almost exclusively in the design/build and design/assist roles offering collaborative interaction with design teams throughout the preconstruction and construction process.

Job Responsibilities
· Preparing estimates at Conceptual, SD, DD, and CD levels of drawings
· Quantity takeoff
· Design team collaboration
· Value engineering
· Subcontractor solicitation and bid evaluation
· Constructability review and drawing QC
· Help prepare RFP responses
· Unit cost tracking
· Subcontractor relationships
· Turnover to Operations
Education
· A BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required
Experience
· Minimum of 3 years in commercial or multifamily construction
· Strong preference for individuals with estimating experience
· Preference for individuals with experience in multifamily construction
· Preference for individuals who have worked closely with design teams in design/build and/or design/assist roles
· Preference for individuals with experience working with sustainable initiatives or requirements (LEED, EGC, NGBS, Net Zero, ZERH, HERS)
Skills
· Proficiency with the following programs is required
o Microsoft Excel
o Microsoft Word
o Bluebeam
· Experience with the following programs is preferred
o ConstructConnect, On Center takeoff, or similar takeoff software
o Building Connected subcontractor solicitation
· Experience with the following programs is a plus
o Procore
o REVIT
o AutoCAD
o Microsoft Project
o Adobe InDesign
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
