Description

INITIAL QUALITY CHECK: Review work order for correct mug style and quantity. Confirm mug quality is acceptable, alert Lead if you have concerns. Be aware of special instructions for work orders.

APPLY HANDLES: Have the necessary supplies at your workstation for that day's work. Retrieve correct handles from extruding area and mugs if necessary. Following standard work, apply handles to the mugs within quality specifications and tools available. Consistently follow special instructions for work orders. Ensure Handle applying goals are met.

APPLY MEDALLIONS: Retrieve mugs and medallions efficiently from the damp boxes and shelves. Following standard work, apply medallions to the mugs within quality specifications and tools available. Stamp the bottom of the mug with the company information and clean mugs when necessary. Consistently follow special instructions for work orders. Ensure daily Medallion application goal is met.

QUALITY CHECK HANDLES & MEDALLIONS- Review work order and double check accuracy of correct mugs and how your handles or medallions were applied. Notify your Lead when quality standards are not met. Accurately enter completed work orders into File Maker. Consistently deliver into a damp box or assigned medallion applier with work orders attached.

WORKSTATION MAINTENANCE - Keep your workstation organized and clean, place waste in buckets that are delivered to Handle pugging area.

Requirements

This is an entry-level position, prior experience is a plus. Must have hand and eye coordination. Accuracy and attention to detail is required. Must be able to enter daily production information into the computer. A high school diploma or GED is a plus.

This position has an hourly rate at $17.00 per hour.
