About the Role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to run and maintain high-precision 5-axis CNC mills and Swiss-type lathes in a fast-paced dental laboratory environment. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Roeders, Arum, or similar machines and is comfortable working with zirconia, PMMA, and titanium premills.
Key Responsibilities
· Set up, operate, and maintain 5-axis CNC milling machines (Roeders) and Swiss-type lathes
· Load, run, and monitor milling jobs while ensuring high-quality output
· Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits as needed
· Perform first-article and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
· Calibrate and perform first-tier maintenance on Arum milling machines
· Troubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate when necessary
· Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow all safety protocols
· Collaborate with CAM programmers and quality control to meet production goals
Requirements
· 3 years of CNC machining experience (5-axis preferred)
· Experience running Swiss-type lathes strongly preferred
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
· Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in the dental or medical device industry
· Familiarity with Arum, Roeders, or similar milling equipment
· Basic CAM programming knowledge is a plus
Compensation
$23 – $30 per hour, depending on experience.
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
