What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer position at Denali Universal Services?
We are hiring for a Security Officer to work at the Marathon Refinery in Anacortes, WA.
Security Officers provide protection of work sites, personnel, and assets from events such as trespassing, theft, vandalism, unauthorized entry, and other disruptive incidents. Responsibilities include: access control, performing searches of vehicles, operating a motor vehicle to patrol assigned areas, investigating suspicious situations, and communicating professionally with the client personnel, contractors and refinery visitors.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) or able to obtain
- State of Washington Security Officer License or ability to obtain
- Maturity of judgement and behavior
- Must be able to pass the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen, criminal background investigation and post-offer physical/fitness for duty evaluation.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in private security, military service, law enforcement, corrections or a related field is desirable, but not required.
