Denali is seeking a motivated candidate for an internship position in the Legal team to support the department with research, drafting, and day-to-day legal operations across corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation, contracts, and regulatory and compliance matters.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with legal research on corporate governance, regulatory, litigation, and commercial law topics
- Support contract management and maintain organized legal files and databases
- Assist with corporate governance activities, including analysis of board minutes and SEC filings
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and gain exposure to legal issues in the biotech industry
- Assist with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform selection and implementation, including gathering requirements and data from key stakeholders across the organization
- Support updates to the legal team’s intranet website to improve usability and accessibility for business stakeholders
- Assist with immigration documentation and support
- Candidates pursuing a law-related degree
- Self- and results-driven, organized, resourceful, adaptable and collaborative
- Bold and creative thinker with a curious nature, eager to learn about the complexities of the business of healthcare and biotech
- Evident communication and analytical skills
- High degree of proficiency with the MS Office Suite or Google equivalent
