Dog Groomer – DEN Urban Dog Retreat (Los Angeles, Highland Park)
DEN Urban Dog Retreat is seeking a skilled, compassionate Dog Groomer to join our wellness-focused dog care campus in Los Angeles.
This is not a high-volume grooming shop.
We specialize in structured, calm, and positive experiences for dogs—prioritizing safety, trust, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities
- Full-service grooming: bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts
- Nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims
- Work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming space
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Ensure every dog has a safe, positive grooming experience
Requirements
- 1 year professional grooming experience preferred
- Strong dog handling skills (especially with nervous or anxious dogs)
- Calm, patient, and attentive demeanor
- Ability to groom safely without rushing
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Bonus Qualifications (Not Required)
- Fear-Free Grooming experience or certification
- Holistic or wellness-based grooming background
- Experience in daycare or pack environments
Compensation
- hourly (based on experience)
- Tips 20% Gratuity on all Services $$$$
