Demusz Mfg. Co., Inc. has an excellent career opportunity for a Production Control Supervisor at our East Hartford, CT facility. Under the general guidance of the Plant Manager, this position is responsible for leading team members within the production group and establishing and ensuring schedule integrity.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains control of materials received and distributed through manufacturing facility.
- Ensures material delivery to and from shipping and receiving.
- Work with process engineering and operations on all job releases.
- Responsible for managing loading summaries and making necessary adjustments in a timely manner to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Manage current and new vendor relationships.
- Ensure customers orders are shipped per requirements and specifications.
- Works closely with manufacturing and sales to ensure work order schedules are updated and distributed timely.
- Interfaces with all support functions including quality, engineering, purchasing, sales, and manufacturing operations to ensure that products are processed with the highest level of quality and delivered to the customer on time.
- Ensure adherence to the production control schedule.
- Communicates with shop management and sales any delays and potential delays.
- Works closely with sales to better understand customer expectations.
- Manages escalated expedites and situations.
- Creates, analyzes and publishes relevant performance metrics, manages revisions needed to best meet both internal and external stakeholder requirements.
- Understanding of sales objectives, maintain customer satisfaction.
- Support the sales and operations planning process through pertinent metric reporting and summary of key capacity constraints.
- Meets productivity standards, completes work in a timely manner.
- Ensures documentation distribution of incoming shipments and documentation integrity of outbound shipments.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Aerospace manufacturing experience desired but not required. )
- Management Experience: 3-5 years (Preferred)
- College degree desired but not required
- Must be able to work emergency overtime, including weekends, on short notice
- Able to follow all established safety procedures and protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of GD&T, blueprints, and operation sheets.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
