Position Summary:

We’re looking for a dependable and customer-focused Route Service Representative to join our team in Clifton, NJ. In this role, you'll manage a designated delivery route—handling the pick-up and drop-off of rental products such as uniforms and linens. All routes run Monday through Friday during daytime hours, giving you evenings and weekends off to enjoy your personal time. This is a full-time, first-shift position with paid holidays off.

• Be the face of Dempsey Uniform, building strong relationships with key decision makers, ensuring quality standards, and proactively resolving customer concerns.
• Drive a truck along your established route, service and sell within your existing customer base, and introduce new product solutions to benefit the customer's business.
• Combine your customer service and sales skills to naturally expand your route and increase your earning potential.
• Maintain accurate invoice inventories, conduct inventory audits, identify additional products and services that can further benefit the customer, and negotiate service agreement renewals.
• Work professionally, safely, and in compliance with driving and vehicle regulations.

• Weekly Pay. Earn $22.10 per hour with increases during the first year

• Minimum age requirement: 22 years for vehicle insurance purposes
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with a clean record
• Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
• Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry products into and out of customers' locations
• Exceptional customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to build rapport and trust with clients
• Strong integrity, work ethic, and a friendly, professional, can-do attitude
• Ability to meet our appearance and dress code policy
• Stability in previous work experience

• Exhibit a superior work ethic, demonstrating punctuality and commitment
• Take pride in their work and maintain a stable work history
• May have prior experience in fast-paced environments, such as route sales, route delivery, production, manufacturing, assembly, or retail
• Meet the physical requirements of the position
