What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front/Cashier position at Dempsey Bakery?
*Must be able to follow detailed instructions.
*Must be dependable and reliable.
*Must be able to stand for extended periods and be able to lift 25 lbs.
*Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers and answering questions
*Provide customers with information about the wide variety of the bakery’s allergy friendly products to help make product related decisions to suit allergy needs.(This will be taught)
*Taking orders over the phone and in person
*Packaging, labeling and pricing products for store front displays
*Maintaining and filling display cases and counters
*Unloading, organizing and restocking supplies
*Follow allergen, sanitation and safety guidelines
*Assisting in cleaning duties
*Lunch prep and assembling sandwiches during lunch hours
*Assisting in other duties as assigned
*Retail/Customer Service experience recommended
