This position provides support and management of the fiscal, administrative and human resources functions of the Department and serves as the Department Administrator. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: managing phones and correspondence; all fiscal and human resource activities assigned to the department; assisting the Chair, Associate Chair, Student Adviser, Program directors with clerical and administrative tasks; managing the calendar of the Chair; assisting with course scheduling; assisting with student advising; maintaining budgetary records; managing travel, purchasing and reimbursements; coordinating meetings and events; coordinating marketing and social media; managing and drafting a newsletter; assisting for planning for the department; managing personnel contracts; maintaining adequate supplies; and ensuring the physical environment and technology needs are functional and well maintained.
