- Ensure a Supportive and Inclusive School Culture: Build and sustain a school-wide culture of high academic and behavioral expectations through a high-support, restorative approach grounded in relationship-building.
- Behavioral Intervention & Reflection: Manage and de-escalate scholar behavior in the DREAM Office using reflection-based conversations. Monitor and process behavior data in Dean’s List to inform supports and interventions.
- Collaborate for Scholar Success: Work closely with school leadership, social workers, teachers, and the Director of Scholar Support to implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans and tiered supports.
- Promote Social-Emotional Growth: Implement proactive behavioral and social-emotional supports using PBIS strategies and age-appropriate interventions that promote scholar agency and positive decision-making.
- Engage in Data-Driven Practices: Use behavior tracking systems and scholar data to plan interventions and identify trends. Communicate progress and concerns with staff and families to ensure aligned supports.
- Build Relationships with Stakeholders: Foster strong connections with scholars, families, and staff through clear, empathetic, and consistent communication.
- Lead Culture Initiatives: Support the development of a joyful and orderly environment by coordinating school-wide culture programs such as town halls, incentive plans, and professional development on school culture.
- Participate in Whole-School Life: Engage in tutoring, classroom observations, field trips, and family engagement events, as well as other school-wide responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
- A Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting (preferred)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and structured environment for scholars
- Commitment to feedback, collaboration, and ongoing professional growth
- Familiarity with behavioral intervention strategies and restorative practices (preferred)
