Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, excavators, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Assist in site preparation by leveling ground, excavating trenches, and moving materials efficiently while adhering to project specifications
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Construction site experience with familiarity in various construction activities and safety procedures
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles like dump trucks, tanker trucks, or front loader trucks preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in outdoor conditions for extended periods
