The Principal, Head of Digital Product Management at Edward Jones is a strategic, delivery-oriented leader responsible for defining and executing the firm’s digital product strategy across business segments and functional areas. This role drives innovation, leads product vision and roadmaps for business segments and functional units, and leads cross-functional efforts to deliver differentiated digital experiences aligned with Edward Jones’ client-first mission. Partnering closely with leaders in Technology, Data, Architecture, and Business Units, the Head of DPM leads a team of Product Owners and Business Systems Analysts to translate customer needs into impactful solutions. This role is instrumental in shaping Edward Jones’ digital future by championing continuous product lifecycle management and driving business outcomes through disciplined product management.

- Define and communicate a compelling digital product vision and strategy that supports firm-wide priorities and business needs.
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to digital product organization, managing a team of director level Portfolio Owners and their associated product organizations, fostering a high-performing, agile, and outcome-oriented culture. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for digital innovation and client experience enhancements.
- Partner with Technology to drive end-to-end digital product delivery, ensuring efficient collaboration between product and engineering resources.
- Champion user-centric design, leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to continuously improve product experiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align product roadmaps with enterprise initiatives, regulatory requirements, and operational goals.
- Stay ahead of industry developments, fintech innovations, and competitive benchmarks. Drive innovation by exploring emerging technologies and digital trends that can enhance client and advisor experiences.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure product success, adoption, and value delivery.
- Serve as the voice of digital product leadership in executive forums, advocating for investments and resource alignment.
- Mentor and develop product talent, building organizational capability in product thinking and delivery.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree, advanced degree preferred.
- 15 years of experience with a deep understanding of digital product management practices and agile methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of financial services, wealth management, or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with design thinking, journey mapping, and outcome-based road mapping.
- Understanding of technology delivery models, including DevOps, Agile and platform strategies.
- Inspires and leads through influence, not just authority.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- High emotional intelligence and adept relationship builder.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading change.
- Passion for innovation and delivering client value at scale.
