Role Description
We're seeking an entry-level Architectural Designer to join our team in Baton Rouge. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for an early-career designer who wants to sharpen their technical skills and grow within a collaborative studio. You'll support the team across all phases of residential documentation—from schematic drawings through permit-ready construction documents—while learning how thoughtful design becomes buildable work.
Responsibilities
- Production of schematic and detailed working drawings under the direction of project architects
- Assistance in developing construction documents and permit sets
- Plan revisions, redlines, and drawing coordination
- Support on presentation materials and renderings as needed
Qualifications
- 0–3 years' experience in residential design (internships and academic work count)
- Bachelor's degree or coursework in Architecture or a related field
- Proficiency—or strong working knowledge—of AutoCAD / AutoCAD Architecture
- Familiarity with SketchUp Pro; Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Eagerness to learn residential construction methods, detailing, and Louisiana building codes
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects against deadlines
- Clear communication and a willingness to take direction and feedback
