Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Civil Attorney based in Dallas, TX.
The attorney will independently manage a broad range of civil matters and will be responsible for:
- Handling a diverse civil caseload from intake through resolution
- Conducting comprehensive legal research
- Drafting, reviewing, and revising pleadings, motions, and legal documents
- Providing clear, strategic legal advice to clients
- Representing clients in hearings, negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings
- Negotiating settlements and developing effective case strategies
- Maintaining consistent and professional communication with clients
- Collaborating with legal staff and attorneys to support firm-wide objectives
This role is best suited for an experienced civil practitioner who is confident working independently, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can balance multiple complex cases.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing Civil Law
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex legal matters effectively and strategically
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas (required)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
