POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Recruiter supports the company’s manufacturing operations by recruiting talent for positions ranging from entry-level to seasoned manufacturing and management roles while promoting the organization’s employer brand. This hybrid role manages full cycle recruiting for manufacturing positions and engages with the community to promote the company’s culture, workplace safety, innovation, and career growth opportunities while building a pipeline to support the company’s future growth.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, people focused, and comfortable being on the production floor to understand jobs firsthand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manufacturing Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
• Manage full‑cycle recruiting for managerial, production, skilled trades, engineering, logistics, and support roles
• Partner closely with leadership and frontline supervisors to understand workforce needs, shift schedules, and skill requirements
• Build pipelines for hard‑to‑fill manufacturing roles such as machinists, programmers, and operational management positions
• Monitor turnover trends (to adjust recruiting strategy) and maintain active applicant pipelines for high-turnover roles
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, trade schools, military transition programs, apprenticeships, community partnerships, and manufacturing associations
• Conduct phone screens, cultural fit assessments, coordinate interviews, and assist hiring managers in selection decisions
• Support high‑volume hiring, seasonal ramp‑ups, and multiple shift staffing needs
• Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience for all applicants
HR Support & Collaboration
• Assist with onboarding activities, including new hire orientation and first‑day communication
• Help coordinate plant tours, hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach programs
• Collaborate with HR and operations to support retention initiatives and internal communications
• Solicit feedback on the recruitment/onboarding experience
• Ensure recruiting practices comply with company policies, labor laws, and safety guidelines
• Check in with new hires to ensure a smooth transition and confirm they are receiving scheduled training
• Identify high-potential employees for future roles
• Conduct stay interviews and gather feedback used to improve hiring messaging
• Participate in HR projects impacting hiring (branding, referral programs, internship/apprenticeship programs)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2–4 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or talent acquisition
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and digital media tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in employer branding or social media marketing
• Background in manufacturing or industrial recruiting
• Basic graphic design, video editing, or photography skills
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
