What You’ll Lead
Reporting to the VP of Operations, you’ll provide strategic and operational leadership across Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Tooling, and Project Engineering.
You will:
- Establish and execute an engineering strategy that supports growth, operational excellence, and customer commitments.
- Lead engineering programs from concept and development through production, sustainment, and end-of-life.
- Optimize NPI, production readiness, tooling strategies, manufacturability, and engineering processes.
- Connect Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Development to improve execution across the operation.
- Drive engineering capacity, resource planning, program cost and risk evaluation, and capital and tooling decisions.
- Establish meaningful KPIs and use them to identify bottlenecks, improve performance, and create greater efficiency.
- Provide visible leadership when engineering challenges affect quality, cost, delivery, customers, or compliance.
- Build capable, accountable teams while championing Lean, Kaizen, 5S, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You Bring
- Experience in plastics engineering, preferably within aerospace manufacturing.
- Demonstrated success leading complex engineering or manufacturing programs across the full product lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding, tooling, manufacturability, process development, and cost modeling.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems; IQMS experience preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with CATIA and SolidWorks.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
- Strong project planning, resource allocation, risk-management, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $120k - $145k
