Now Hiring: Event Drapery Team Member
Location: East Hartford, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours per week)
Overtime: Available during busy periods
Demers Exposition Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team as an Event Drapery Team Member. This position is responsible for folding, organizing, and preparing event draperies for upcoming trade shows and special events.
Responsibilities
- Fold and organize large fabric draperies throughout the workday
- Inspect draperies for cleanliness and damage
- Stack and prepare draperies for storage or shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed
- Inventory control
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable working on your feet the entire day
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous warehouse or production experience is helpful but not required—we will train the right candidate.
