Tasks and Qualifications:
What You will Do in This Role:
- Carry out semi-complex mechanical duties related to both sub-assemblies and final product preparation for testing.
- Assist in the loading and shipping processes involved with the final product.
- Interpret blueprints and schematics, recommending engineering changes as necessary.
- Help with the set-up procedures necessary for functional testing of the product.
- High School diploma required. Associate's degree or equivalent experience / certification preferred.
- Effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to tackle them in situations where the problem is more difficult and complex.
- Operate forklifts and cranes as the need arises.
- Prepare and load final products for shipment.
- Ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, and the like, with the ability to reach up to 120 ft.
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
- Work in areas subject to hazards such as moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, and chemicals.
- Support the installation of products, involving 25%-30% or more travel with minimal or no advance warning.
