SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Primary function is to build and maintain strong positive relationships with existing and potential core clients, A/E’s, consultants and industry associations that lead to new opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Focus on driving company growth by identifying and procuring new opportunities (competitive & negotiated), developing strategies, and fostering client relationships to increase revenue and profitability.
- Conduct market research to identify and analyze industry trends, potential clients and competitors within our targeted construction markets.
- Use CRM to track & report upcoming construction projects and to generate & maintain an updated key contact list including in-depth information on existing/new clients.
- Track client websites for upcoming projects & download available RFP’s, RFQ’s, etc.
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to meet business objectives and sales targets.
- Assist in new market penetration through market research
- Analyze projects in conformance with DeMaria’s short-term and long-term strategic sales plans
- Attend industry events, conferences and trade shows to network, represent the company and enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with Leadership, internal teams and Project Teams, to ensure successful project acquisition and delivery.
- Prepare, analyze and maintain project pursue list.
- Perform additional assignments as required or directed by DeMaria’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Analyzing business data and making actionable recommendations for clients and management
- Conduct primary and secondary research to obtain market data.
- Manage & lead internal training of Project Teams – Seller/Doer Culture
QUALIFICATIONS (Skills, knowledge, experience)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a Business-related field with a minimum 5 years of Marketing experience
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the construction
- Strong and effective communication skills, both verbally and written, who can interface cooperatively with various departments of the company, as well as clients and A/E’s.
- Possess good organizational, analytical and problem-solving ability
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Strong research and analysis skills

- Proficient in use, or quickly capable of learning Salesforce and all Microsoft Office software
