Job Description:
- Responsible for all sales activities from lead generation to sales closure through a framework of both specified and unspecified projects to drive sales. Develop and implement an approved Sales Business Plan which will meet both personal and business goals. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation and long-term account goals in-line with the company vision and values.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales growth through effective and diligent sales disciplines and processes.
- Establish new and service existing accounts including Architect & Designers, Flooring Contractors, Dealers, General Contractors, Builders, and End Users.
- Track projects from specification through to completion and invoice.
- Professionally represent DeMarco Tile and our product portfolio.
- Provide continuing customer education through product updates and presentations.
- Prepare sales quotes based on information obtained from blueprints, design specs and related customer documents; consults with project Architects and Interior Designers to ensure consistent and correct information.
- Prospect for both specified and unspecified projects to ensure a growing pipeline.
- Place and maintain product merchandising systems in appropriate floor covering dealers showrooms.
- Create and maintain a strong harmony within the organization.
- Facilitate project tracking reviews to maintain high awareness of project status.
- Assist in sales blitzes and promotions.
- Participate in local chapters of building industry and design-oriented communities, such as CBIA, IDS, etc.
- Maintain the highest level of product and technical knowledge.
- Responsible for maintaining a high level of product trends and market awareness.
Skills & Qualifications Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must have 3 years of sales experience
- Outgoing, self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Able to build and leverage strong relationships.
- Demonstrates excellent follow-up and follow-through
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills, including MS Office programs.
- Willing to work overtime and Saturdays when required.
- Bi-lingual in English & Spanish is a plus.
- Must be able to lift and carry 65 lbs.
- Valid Florida drivers license and clean driving record (company vehicle is provided for sales calls)
Compensation:
- Pay based on experience (salary plus commissions. Commissions start after probationary period)
Pay: $29,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
