Power Plumbing a division of Andersen Commercial Plumbing, recognized as Southern California's Top Service Plumbing Companies, is currently seeking a Plumbing Apprentice.
We’re searching for Plumbing Apprentices who are looking to become tradespersons, committing to learning excellent service skills, and the desire to become a plumber. This position requires promptness and a good attitude towards how work is approached. The desire to learn and grow your skillsets are going to be key to your success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring)
- Demonstrate the ability to learn how to read plans and blueprints.
- Use various plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)
- Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and recommendations.
- Use of drain cleaning equipment (snakes, hydro jetters)
- Complete all tasks to company quality and safety standards.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Ability to handle physical workload (ability to lift 75 lbs)
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, friendly and approachable.
- Analytical, focused on quality, and results-driven.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to take accurate measurements.
- Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business.
- Ability to utilize electronic devices for timekeeping.
- Willingness to sometimes work until we can restore service (water, sewer)
- Satisfactory passing of pre-employment screens and physical.

Compliance Requirements
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test prior to employment
