We are currently seeking a Part-time Bookkeeper / Office Assistant to join our small office team for a stamped concrete contracting business. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a collaborative yet independent setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general clerical support to the Office Manager in daily operations
- Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
- Basic banking tasks (deposits, reconciliations)
- Billing and invoicing
- Scanning and document management
- Entering and maintaining customer information in the database
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and office software
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with QuickBooks and Peachtree/Sage Accounting (required)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to assist the Office Manager as needed
Position Details
- Flexible hours/schedule: 5 days preferred - Part-time
- Starting pay: $20.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
- 1 week paid vacation
