We are a leading Single-Family Plumbing contractor specializing in high-volume production builder operations. We are seeking an Estimating Coordinator to administratively lead our bidding process and ensure seamless communication between our financial data and our estimating team.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized "process owner" who thrives on deadlines and accuracy. You will be responsible for the administrative lifecycle of our bids, ensuring every submittal is timely, our pricing databases are current, and our bids are informed by accurate historical project data.
Key Responsibilities
- Bid Pipeline Management: Own the estimating calendar. You will be held accountable for all timelines, ensuring every bid submittal and builder deadline is met by the team without exception.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Regularly pull P&L and job-costing reports from Sage Intacct. Analyze completed project data to help the team understand current pricing trends and ensure bid alignment with actual field costs.
- Database Maintenance: Maintain and update internal pricing databases to ensure they reflect current material and labor market conditions.
- Submittal Leadership: Manage the preparation and delivery of professional bid packages to our production builder partners.
- Administrative Support: Support the division with data entry of invoices and accounts payable tasks, ensuring all costs are accurately coded to maintain the integrity of our project reporting.
Qualifications
- Industry Experience: 4 years of administrative or coordinator experience within the construction trades (Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical preferred).
- Financial Literacy: Ability to read and interpret P&Ls and job-cost reports to identify trends.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Sage Intacct or similar construction ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Detail Oriented: A high level of "administrative discipline" you are someone who double-checks every number and never misses a deadline.
- Communication: Ability to work cross-functionally with estimating, accounting, and field operations.
