About The Role
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead critical infrastructure initiatives at Delve — including a full AWS migration, scaling our database architecture, and hardening our security and compliance posture.
You’ll be our first infra hire and own everything from networking to IAM to multi-tenant architecture. This is a hands-on, foundational role with high ownership and high leverage.

About The Role
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to lead critical infrastructure initiatives at Delve — including a full AWS migration, scaling our database architecture, and hardening our security and compliance posture.
You’ll be our first infra hire and own everything from networking to IAM to multi-tenant architecture. This is a hands-on, foundational role with high ownership and high leverage.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the migration from a platform-as-a-service to AWS
- Redesign our infrastructure for multi-database, per-customer tenancy
- Build and manage IAM policies, secrets management, and network hardening
- Collaborate with security and engineering to strengthen compliance posture
- Support a fast-moving backend team with infrastructure that just works
- Occasionally write backend code to support migrations, schema changes, and automation
- 4–6 years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
- Proven success scaling infra at a mid-sized or larger tech company
- Strong with AWS (IAM, VPC, RDS, ECS/EKS, S3, networking, etc.)
- Familiarity with Python, Go, Postgres, schema design, and backend service integration
- Able to operate independently, make decisions, and own systems end-to-end
- Comfortable moving between cloud, infra, and application layers when needed
- Thrives under pressure — systems will break, edge cases will hit, and you’ll be the one calmly fixing it while others are slacking you in all caps
