Business Development Representative – Legal Funding Sales
Remote / Regional Role – Arizona & New Mexico
$70,000–$80,000 Base Uncapped Commission | Realistic $100K Total Compensation

We are hiring a Business Development Representative for a fast-growing legal funding company serving the personal injury space!!!
The company provides bridge funding to individuals involved in pending personal injury cases, helping plaintiffs access funds while they wait for their case to resolve. This is not a direct-to-consumer sales role. You will be selling to plaintiff personal injury law firms by educating attorneys on the funding solution and onboarding firms into the company’s referral network. Once onboarded, their clients can access funding options when appropriate during the life of their case.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and grow relationships with personal injury law firms
- Meet with attorneys and law firm decision-makers in the field
- Educate firms on legal funding solutions for pending PI cases
- Onboard firms into the company’s referral network
- Manage a defined AZ/NM territory
- Drive referral relationships through calls, emails, visits, and networking
- Track activity, follow-up, and pipeline through CRM
- Represent the company at firm meetings and legal events
Ideal Background:
- 3–6 years of sales experience preferred
- Comfortable selling to attorneys and professional decision-makers
- Strong communication skills and professional presence
- Organized, coachable, outgoing, and detail-oriented
- Able to manage a territory and build relationships from scratch
- Personal injury, legal services, medical funding, or litigation funding experience is a strong plus
Compensation & Benefits:
- $65,000–$75,000 base salary, with up to $80,000 possible for strong industry candidates
- Uncapped commission with realistic $100K total compensation
- Standard benefits included, such as medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement benefits, car allowance, phone stipend, and covered business travel expenses
Hiring Process:
One recorded interview shared with the hiring panel. If that goes well, candidates complete a timed 15-minute attention-to-detail assessment with math included. Target hire date is late June to early July.
