Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance, including water testing, chemical balancing, and cleaning to ensure optimal water quality.
- Conduct regular pool cleaning tasks such as skimming, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and emptying skimmer baskets.
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to repair or replace faulty equipment and components.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, and repairs for each pool serviced.
- Identify potential issues early through visual inspections and proactive maintenance to prevent larger problems.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and clients.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance procedures.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
