We are a growing store looking for a reliable and skilled Butcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with meat cutting, preparation, and customer service while maintaining high standards of quality, freshness, and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer needs.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to customers with meat selections and special requests.
- Prepare, package, label, and display meat products properly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary butcher area.
- Follow food safety, handling, and storage procedures.
- Monitor product quality and freshness.
- Assist with inventory, receiving deliveries, and restocking products.
- Reduce waste through proper handling and portioning.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a butcher or meat cutter preferred.
- Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation methods, and safe handling practices.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Mediterranean-style meats and preparations is a plus.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
