DeLuca’s Market is a fast paced, high volume neighborhood market and deli with locations in Beacon Hill and Back Bay. We are looking for an experienced Sandwich Maker who can work quickly, stay focused, and handle both customer facing service and prep responsibilities with consistency and urgency.
This role is best suited for someone who has prior sandwich making or deli experience, works well under pressure, maintains a clean and organized station, and understands the importance of speed, quality, and teamwork in a busy environment.
Position Details:
- Training pay starts at $18.00/hour
- Pay increases to $20.00/hour upon successful completion of training period
- $500 sign on bonus paid after 3 months of employment
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sandwiches quickly, accurately, and consistently
- Assist with food prep, restocking, cleaning, and maintaining organization throughout the shift
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency during busy periods
- Work as part of a team and help keep daily operations running smoothly
Qualifications:
- Previous sandwich shop, deli, or food service experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment without constant supervision
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Good communication and teamwork
- Attention to cleanliness, food quality, and personal hygiene
- Ability to multitask and stay productive throughout the shift
Schedule:
