Job Description

We are looking for an intern to join the Mechanical Engineering team in our Muskegon, Michigan production office for the SUMMER of 2026.

You will be given the opportunity to apply your educational learning with real-world experience through supporting teamwork with Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Architects with projects in the built environment.  You will develop communication skills, professional protocols and ethics, problem solving, design and detailing skills.  You will be assisting with the preparation of designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings and working drawings. You will assist with the evaluation, selection and application of standard engineering techniques in the design and selection of HVAC systems in buildings.  Exposure to project management and construction administration will be provided to aid in your understanding of the entire project delivery process.  You will build upon AutoCAD and BIM software skills to assist collaboratively with client and production requirements.

Interviews for this position will begin in January 2026.

Job Requirements

Qualifications include:

• Current enrollment in Mechanical Engineering degree program
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
• Working knowledge of Revit preferred
• Experience with CAD, Photoshop or Sketchup, and Microsoft Office
