What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Van Driver position at Delta Transportation?
-Pick up patients at home or other facility
- Safely operate a van to transport passengers to their destinations
- Communicate effectively with passengers and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized van interior
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the van
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation
-Ensures wheelchairs and passengers are properly secured before starting van.
-Depending on route, may pick up several patients for a common destination.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
