What are the responsibilities and job description for the ServiceNow Tester position at Delta System & Software, Inc.?
Job Description:
- Perform regression and functional user acceptance testing for WFT applications.
- Assist in parallel running of current and new scenarios to validate results.
- Document UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Define and prepare necessary test data for various testing phases.
- Identify and analyze defects, collaborating with Operations teams for quality assurance and timely bug resolution.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reports on testing results in addition to regular testing duties.
- Automate regression and functional test cases to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with technology teams for BDD implementation.
- Automate test design using appropriate testing tools.
- Conduct automation feasibility studies and derive return on investment (ROI).
- Apply practical experience in test automation with Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber, API testing, and database knowledge, utilizing one or more automation tools.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 2 years applied experience
- Demonstrate expertise in Selenium, Cucumber, and Java.
- Apply expertise in BDD/TDD (Behavior Driven Development/Test Driven Development).
- Utilize version control systems such as Bitbucket and Git.
- Develop automation frameworks using core Java.
- Maintain Keyword, Data, and Hybrid automation frameworks.
- Manage test data using SQL.
