Senior Manufacturing Engineer – Plastic Injection Molding - Danvers, MA (Onsite)
Position Summar
y• Client is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer with strong plastic injection molding expertise to support the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME) team at Danvers. The individual will partner closely with AME leadership and cross-functional teams to support manufacturing process improvements, capacity expansion initiatives, process validation activities, and ongoing operational excellence efforts

Key Responsibiliti
es• Provide technical leadership for plastic injection molding manufacturing processe
s.• Support process development, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiative
s.• Collaborate with AME, Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Supplier team
s.• Lead root cause investigations and implementation of corrective actions related to molding processe
s.• Support equipment qualifications, process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ), and manufacturing transfer
s.• Analyze process capability, yield, scrap, cycle time, and productivity metric
s.• Develop and update manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and engineering report
s.• Participate in design reviews and manufacturability assessment
s.• Drive implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence initiative
s.• Support risk assessments and compliance activities within a regulated medical device environmen
t.
Required Qualificati
ons• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related fie
ld.• 7 years of manufacturing engineering experien
ce.• Strong hands-on experience with plastic injection molding processes and equipme
nt.• Experience supporting medical device or other highly regulated manufacturing environmen
ts.• Demonstrated experience with process validation, statistical analysis, and continuous improveme
nt.• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skil
ls.• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skil
ls.
Preferred Qualificat
